You already know how much fun it can be attending a show at StageDoor Theatre, now you can enjoy one of Neil Simon's classic comedies on our stage beginning June 14 and running through June 29.
StageDoor’s adult company kicks off the summer with one of Neil Simon’s most-loved comedies. Paul (Justin Johnson) and Corie Bratter (Brittany Fouskas) are newlyweds in every sense of the word. He's a straight-as-an-arrow lawyer and she's a free spirit always looking for the latest kick. Their new apartment is her most recent find — too expensive with bad plumbing and in need of a paint job. After a six-day honeymoon, they get a surprise visit from Corie's loopy mother, (Janice O’ Grady), and decide to play matchmaker during a dinner with their neighbor-in-the-attic Velasco (Dennis King), where everything that can go wrong, does. Paul just doesn't understand Corie, as she sees it. He's too staid, too boring and she just wants him to be a little more spontaneous, running "barefoot in the park" would be a start....
Performances are as follows: June 14, 15, 21, 22, 28, 29 at 7:30 pm; June 23 at 2:00 pm; tickets: $12-$16. To order tickets, click here.
StageDoor Theatre is located in Aspen Park. We look forward to seeing you at the theatre!
