If you've been thinking about joining the Evergreen Association for Sustainability (+ You) (EAS+Y), or are curious about what they do, you might want to attend the general meeting Thursday, July 12th 8:00 - 9:30 am at the Bergen Park Fire Station.  They'll have speakers talking about the $4.6 million project that will enhance trails in two contiguous counties.

Jefferson and Clear Creek Counties just scored $4.6M in funding from Great Outdoors Colorado for an exciting trails project that will catalyze our opportunity to fish, boat, bike and hike Clear Creek. Trail connectivity brings tremendous benefits to our area - way beyond the obvious recreational ones. We'll be hearing from Nancy York (photo left), Evergreen resident and Partnerships Coordinator with Jefferson County Open Space and Pete Helseth (photo right), Clear Creek County Open Space Project Manager, both of whom have been deeply involved in making this project happen. They have knock-your-socks-off flyover presentation of the trail project.
