What's the need for another community publication, you might wonder....

JustAroundHere.com is designed to be a central resource for the community.  It's not a newspaper because it doesn't include any hard news, and it's dependent on readers to submit the content.  It isn't intended to take the place of the Canyon Courier or any of the other fine publications that serve the area.  It is, however, intended to perpetuate that "small-town" feeling with lots of photos and feel-good stuff!

Grab a bit of information about upcoming happenings and look at photos from events that have already taken place.  Get a feel for what's going on through the Park and Rec district.  Check out the pictures of neighbors and friends who might be more involved than you are.  Discover something about Evergreen you didn't know before.

Learn about support groups and art exhibits, classes, and special holiday services at local churches.  Attend something as a result.

Check out coverage of what our young people are involved with at schools throughout the area (17 public and private schools have been encouraged to feed information into this publication).  JustAroundHere.com is inviting students at the high school level to submit samples of writing, photography and artwork

Experience some of the vibrance of our young people through the action shots, whether in Halloween costumes, sports uniforms, or military uniforms.

Get acquainted.  Read about how the many civic organizations and nonprofit groups in town channel their energy to help others.

Interact.  Upload your photos of the latest snowfall or the wildlife in your yard. Parents, upload those cell phone shots of the football games or proms or field trips.

Help us keep a small-town feel to Evergreen by submitting articles about engagements, weddings, and new babies.  And, of course, obituaries are key in a small community.

Flip through the Business Directory to learn more about the goods and services available locally.

Classified ads will be similar in nature to Craig's List, but for just around here!  And they're FREE!  Take advantage of the mapping feature to locate some of those difficult-to-find garage sale destinations.

JustAroundHere.com is designed to offer a little bit of something for nearly everyone in the community.  It's designed to encourage a crossover of publicity for diverse groups that make up the Evergreen area.  And it's intended to encourage more people to get involved in making Evergreen an even-more-wonderful place to live than it already is.
