Berkshire Hathaway announces fifth annual "Why I Love Evergreen" photo contest

Berkshire Hathaway Home Services (BHHS) Elevated Living Real Estate is launching its 5th annual "Why I Love Evergreen" Photo Contest offering cash prizes and charitable donations in two categories for the photos that best depict the awesomeness of Evergreen and the mountain community.

This contest celebrates why we love living in Evergreen, while benefiting a few local non-profits.

Photographers can enter the contest at: or  Online voting will be conducted from August 25th - September 1st, 2017.

Two winners will be chosen: a popular winner, based on the number of online votes cast, and a juried winner, selected by a panel of judges. The winners will each receive $300, of which $200 is a cash prize and $100 is donated to their choice of five non-profits - Blue Spruce Habitat for Humanity ReStore, Evergreen Christian Outreach, Evergreen Public Access Defibrillation, Life Options Pregnancy Center and Young Life.

The winning photos will also each be featured for a week as the cover photo on BHHS Elevated Living Real Estate's Facebook page. The finalists, winners, and sponsors will be honored at a reception in September (date to be announced) at BHHS's offices at 29029 Upper Bear Creek Rd., Ste. 104, in Evergreen's Lakepoint Center. Haley Gutierrez's photo "Peek-a-Boo!" was the popular winner.
