Book Talk features Scott Gibson's Standing Outside of Life

Suzanne Dahlberg, Rocky Mountain Literary Festival volunteer, will help those at the second RMLF Book Talk make sense of a crazy world.

These Book Talks are held monthly leading up to October’s third annual Rocky Mountain Literary Festival. RMLF encourages attendees of the Festival to read the books to be featured, attend the Book Talks, resulting in the richest of experiences at the Festival.

Dahlberg has read and examined and turned inside and out the many elements of life that the characters of brother and sister experience in Standing Outside of Life by Scott Gibson. She will lead the book talk and encourage those in attendance to participate.

Zee-Zee and her brother, Mitchell, leave an isolated existence, until “a casual flirtation with the father of one of her day care charges plunges ZeeZee into a series of clandestine meetings-which become more problematic as she befriends her lover's soon-to-be ex-wife. Even as ZeeZee juggles her emotionally conflicted new relationships, she and Mitchell are blindsided by the return of their long-absent father.”

The excitement and twisting emotions take off from there.

Please join Dahlberg and other RMLF participants at HearthFire Books and Treats in Bergen Park, on Wednesday, June 21 at 6:00 p.m.
