Riders complete over 120 miles and 10,000 feet of climbing in a single day and travel from many states nationwide to participate in the iconic Colorado cycling event. The Triple Bypass is named for the 3 passes riders travel over during the event - Juniper, Loveland and Vail.

Beneficiaries of the monies raised in the race generally provide volunteers along the 120-mile course.

Founded in 1988, Team Evergreen Cycling is the largest bicycle club in Colorado. Originally based in Evergreen, the club has over 1000 members throughout the Front Range. The club produces the Triple Bypass, The Bob Cook Memorial Mount Evans Hill Climb and hosts cycling related activities throughout the year.

Team Evergreen supports bicycling and related activities to further the sport of cycling and promote its continued growth and safe enjoyment.
