Special Night of Music for EChO

Make plans now to attend the "Special Night of Music" for Evergreen Christian Outreach on Thursday, March 30th, at Center Stage.  According to organizer John Erlandson, "This is a 'must not miss' evening that will feature the much touted New York duo, Sirsy… whose music will have you rockin’ and soul in’."  He adds what's been said about them:

“Rock & Soul that's chock full of sing along melodies -- with more hooks than a tackle box, lots of heart, and just the right amount of sass. Edgy but friendly."  Times Union, NY

The Boston Globe sums it up, 'Little band. Big Sound.' No more needs to be said. Although the only thing “little” about SIRSY is there are just 2 of them. The rest is bigger than balls on a buffalo. Vocalist, Melanie Krahmer, also plays a full drum kit while standing up. (She’s been featured in modern drummer and is endorsed by Paiste Cymbals and Vater Percussion). At live shows, Krahmer also plays bass on a keyboard with her drumstick and some flute too. Guitarist, Rich Libutti plays everything else, including bass (live on a keyboard with his feet)!"

Playing 200+ shows/yr, Nationally, Sirsy’s shared stages with: Maroon 5, Train, Grace Potter & the Nocturnals, Lifehouse, RaRaRiot, Third Eye Blind, Collective Soul, Blues Traveler, Cheap Trick, & many more.

Sirsy’s latest CD “Coming Into Frame” (funzalo records) was produced by grammy-winners, Paul Kolderie & Sean Slade (Radiohead, Hole, Dresden Dolls, Pixies, Mighty Mighty Bosstones). Sirsy’s music videos are on MTV & HBO.”
