Nine hundred and seventy-five folks ages 2 to 85 walked, trotted, strollered or ran the Fourth of July Freedom Run 5K benefiting Mount Evans Home Health Care & Hospice, our community’s only nonprofit home healthcare provider. Now in its 36th year, the Freedom Run starts at Evergreen Middle School and winds 3.1 miles through residential streets to Nick’s Pro Fitness, where a post-race party provides food, fun and entertainment to race participants and their families.
