Mardi Gras supports international reach of Evergreen Rotary

Evergreen Rotary held its second annual Mardi Gras at Evergreen Country Day School on Saturday, February 6, 2016, with many members and guests adorned with costumes and masks.  Proceeds from the event further the club's international projects, some of which include:

  • Youth exchange programs: The Philippines, Norway, Germany and Switzerland
  • Water and sanitation projects: Guatemala, Philippines, Kenya, Uganda and Haiti
  • Microfinance projects: Zimbabwe and other countries
  • Teacher training programs: Cambodia
  • Motorcycle ambulance program – Bach Mai Hospital in Vietnam
  • Medical supplies with Project Cure
  • Disaster relief – typhoons/hurricanes in the Philippines, Haiti, and Mexico
  • Plaster house in Tanzania
