Kids' Rodeo Stampede
The Kids' Rodeo Stampede took place as planned on June 23rd at the Evergreen Rodeo Arena. Kids from preschoolers through eighth grade competed in the 50-yard dash, a 5K run, and a 1-mile run. A $100 cash prize and trophy were presented to the local school with the most registrations – Rocky Mountain Academy of Evergreen. Proceeds from the event are being donated to Children's Hospital of Denver Department of Rehabilitation, Mountain Runzillas Run Club, as well as to continue the annual stampede.
