Meet Pat Johnson
Pat Johnson has made an incredible contribution to the Center for the Arts Evergreen (CAE) for the last seven years as a member of the Board of Directors and has been particularly effective during two terms as president from 2009-2010. He is now serving as treasurer.
Pat is the owner of a very successful and busy law firm, Johnson and Associates, yet still finds time to devote numerous hours to the Center. His legal experience and expertise in nonprofits has smoothed the way for the Center on many occasions. Pat’s particular claim to fame as a board member and president is his remarkable ability to know the right people at the right time to volunteer at Center events.
Pat effectively engages business owners and people throughout the community to provide in-kind services for this nonprofit organization for the arts. People are eager to get on the bandwagon when Pat approaches them because they can see that he is always willing to do yeoman’s duty himself to make the Center a success. For example, in the last year or so, The Center for the Arts Evergreen has opened up a satellite art gallery in Georgetown. Many of the participants there are Evergreen artists who now have a chance to show/sell their art in a tourist ambiance. Pat and his wife, Jennifer, along with Steve Sumner, Executive Director, CAE worked hundreds of hours under very short deadlines to do all the work necessary to make that unique program a success and organized in a professional manner.
Thank you, Pat, for your commitment to the Evergreen area!
