Dan Lincoln
(1942 - )
After a distinguished and fascinating military career (1964-84), Dan and his family moved to Evergreen where he had summered as a child. A little-known fact about Dan is that he witnessed the assassination of Egypt's president, Anwar Sadat, in 1981.
As a board member of Evergreen North Area Land-use Effort (ENABLE), Dan worked to lower housing density in new developments. He was the voice for smaller facilities as a Board member of the Evergreen Park and Recreation District, 1992-2004. He has been a principle force in the success of the Evergreen Music Festival as a board member, and he has devoted years to the Upper Bear Creek Homeowners’ Association. Active in the Intermountain Horse Association; an ardent fox hunter.
The Lincoln family opened Willow Creek Restaurant on Upper Bear Creek in 2010.
