Alpine Rescue Team has responded to wilderness emergencies since 1959: providing mountain search and rescue, day or night, 24/7.

Provides resources and support for veterans and active duty military families, widows and childre. Offers food, clothing, and other emergency assistance to fellow service members, veterans and families of military members.

Provides critical support for individuals, families, and communities before, duringn and after an emergency or disaster. Services include financial assistance, hotel vouchers, clothing, food and other assistance to families; emergency shelters, food, and disaster respose services for communities; food and water for first responders before, during and after disasters; and emergency assistance to families of military members, including emergency communications to military personnel stationed anywhere in the world.

Free advocacy services to counter anti-Semitism, bigotry and prejudice. Services include informal intervention in disputes involving issues of discrimination and/or religious liberty and a list of lawyers who have offered to provide advice or representation on a private basis.

Advocacy, resources and support for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Connects clients to community and governmental services, including emergency assistance, clothing, food and other resources.

The mission of Art for the Mountain Community is to maintain a program of art acquisition that will beautify public buildings and open spaces in the mountain area of Jefferson County and encourage the expression and appreciation of art through education and other public activities and programs.

Our Mission: Opening minds and hearts to the need for affordable housing in Evergreen. We believe that the local workforce should have the option of living in the community they serve.

Blue Spruce Habitat for Humanity is the foothills affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. We serve the mountain areas of western Jefferson County, Clear Creek County and parts of Park County near Bailey. We are a Christian ecumenical housing ministry that assists low-income families building and buying their own homes.

Blue Spruce Kiwanis meets at Stagecoach Sports Grill every Thursday morning at 7:00 a.m. We welcome new members. Blue Spruce Kiwanis is a local Evergreen organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time. Blue Spruce is for kids-here, there, and everywhere in Evergreen.

For more than 60 years Bootstraps Inc. has been providing scholarships and interest-free loans to graduating high school students from the Conifer / Evergreen area. The purpose of Bootstraps is to assist these mountain-area students in pursuing their goals of higher education. We especially focus on those students in need of financial assistance, with an aim to empower students to pull themselves up by their bootstraps.

A weekend bereavement camp for children ages 6-12 yrs who have lost a family member or friend. Offered twice each summer.

Since 2003 the Center for the Arts Evergreen has welcomed visitors from the mountain community and from around the world. Our location in the wooded park next to Buchanan Recreation Center makes us a convenient stop in the middle of a busy day.

The Clear Creek Rock House is a dynamic youth out-reach in Clear Creek Coun ty that provides mentorin, turoing and afterschool activities to teens.  A safe haven for kids!

NSDAR is a women’s service organization and open to all women, regardless of race, religion or ethnicity, 18 years of age and older, who lineally descend from a patriot of the American Revolution. This volunteer organization is nonpolitical and nonprofit with a 501(c)(3) status.

DRIVE SMART is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing traffic related fatalities and injuries. We accomplish this by developing solutions to transportation safety issues and changing driving attitudes and behaviors, in partnership with schools, businesses, civic, community and government agencies.

The Evergreen Animal Protective League was organized in April, 1981, to aid lost, abandoned and suffering animals through rescue, shelter and education.

The Evergreen Artists Association promotes the visual arts in our mountain community.

The Evergreen Audubon Society was founded first as the Evergreen Naturalists, Inc. in 1968. It became a chapter of the National Audubon Society in 1978. We welcome anyone and everyone who is interested in the natural world. The Evergreen Nature Center is a project of the Evergreen Audubon. The Nature Center aspires to foster contagious enthusiasm and life-long respect for the natural world by providing fun and inspiring educational experiences throughout the Bear Creek Watershed.

The Evergreen Chamber Orchestra is not your ordinary musical experience. In the beautiful setting of the Colorado Rockies, up to fifty musicians will delight you with music of all eras.

For nearly two decades, the Evergreen Children’s Chorale has inspired voices and enriched lives with high quality choral concerts and musical theater productions. We are a 501 (c) (3) non-profit performing arts organization with the distinct privilege of offering children from Evergreen and surrounding mountain communities the opportunity to perform side-by-side with other talented students from public, private and home school environments.

Since its founding in 1948, Evergreen’s volunteer fire department has evolved from an organization of men dedicated to extinguishing fires to a cadre of men and women who respond to emergencies ranging from structure fires to drownings and crashes to wildfires. Evergreen Fire Rescue offers non-emergency services to its community as well, including CPR courses, space for community meetings, participation in community events and station tours.

Located just 30 minutes southwest of Denver, the scenic mountain community of Evergreen provides an idyllic setting for the 3-day event. Five distinctive, intimate venues ranging from a church to a bar and grill give audiences a delightful variety of up-close-and-personal listening experiences. And the music? Evergreen Park & Recreation District serves approximately 22,000 people residing within the District boundaries. Evergreen is easily accessed via I‐70, Hwy 285, or Hwy 74 through Bear Creek Canyon.

The Evergreen Players began in 1950 as a group of friends gathering in each other's homes to read plays aloud. Today it is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization producing six shows per year for the foothills community.

Rodeo became popular in Colorado over a century ago with the advent of the cattle industry. Evergreen, a logging and mountain ranch community that spread out for miles around Bear Creek had its share of local rodeo rivalry.

Today TU is a national organization with more than 140,000 volunteers organized into about 400 chapters from Maine to Montana to Alaska. This dedicated grassroots army is matched by a respected staff of lawyers, policy experts and scientists, who work out of more than 30 offices nationwide. These conservation professionals ensure that TU is at the forefront of fisheries restoration work at the local, state and national levels.

Hiwan Homestead Museum is a historic 25-room log mansion constructed in the Rustic style of the early 1900s. A Jefferson County Open Space facility, the museum is operated through a partnership with the Jefferson County Historical Society.

Into Your Hands fosters a culture of self-reliance in rural youth in Uganda, East Africa by providing opportunities for education and micro-enterprise development. Since it was founded in 2007, Into Your Hands has provided over 400 scholarships and helped 90 students manage their own pig-rearing business.

Offering life-affirming choices for women and families facing unintended pregnancies

Mountain Resource Center (MRC) provides health and human services assistance for people in the underserved, isolated mountain communities of western Jefferson, eastern Park and southern Clear Creek counties. MRC serves people in a 1,000 square mile area with services including housing, rent and utility assistance; health services; a food pantry; family education; domestic violence counseling; workforce assistance and our Resale Shop.
