Meet Adrian Stone

Written by Ruth Morehouse on .

Adrian Stone is the Market President for US Bank in both Evergreen and Golden. This means that it is her responsibility to make sure that the bank and its employees are involved in the important goings-on of our community.

In this role she is instrumental in identifying and choosing local organizations that would benefit from grants or sponsorships from US Bank. This has included a variety of causes dear to our hearts including the Big Chili Cookoff, Mount Evans Hospice, Mt. Area Land Trust, Habitat for Humanity in Evergreen, Drive Smart, and the Downtown Duck Race.

In Evergreen she also serves as the Commercial Relationships Manager which includes overseeing all commercial loans and making sure that Evergreen businesses that use US Bank are satisfied with their commercial services.

These two responsibilities have provided her with the opportunity to immerse herself deeply in many activities and projects in our community. Adrian speaks about the people in Evergreen with affection and pride and genuinely believes that our residents have some very special qualities. Although it is part of her job to get involved in the community and nonprofit organizations of the mountain community, Adrian genuinely loves Evergreen and puts her heart and soul into her various projects and committees.

Adrian is warm and funny with a playful sense of humor. She is also authentic, hard-working, and vitally interested in the well-being of the people in Evergreen. The various non-profit groups are eager to have her involved in their boards, activities and projects because it is crystal clear that it is more than just a job for her. She gets invested in the goals of the organization and devotes long hours to her community commitments.

Adrian is a member of the Evergreen Rotary where she served as Chair of the Membership Committee for two years. In 2009 her Rotary club recognized her for her involvement in advocating for business and encouraging the development and expansion of local businesses.

Adrian is also on the Board of Directors of the Center for the Arts – Evergreen and is currently serving as treasurer of the non-profit board. In this capacity she has a knack for taking financial mumbo-jumbo and making it easily understandable and useful to her fellow board members. Last summer she co-chaired the volunteer committee for the CAE Summerfest which is a major commitment since it involves more than 150 volunteers from all ages and all walks of life.

Adrian has also been involved with the Colorado Women’s Chamber Board for years and now serves on their Women’s Leadership Foundation Board. She also serves on the Jefferson County Economic Council.

Adrian’s lives in Ken Caryl with her husband Dan who has just recently retired as Vice President of Operations with Cisco Foods. Adrian and Dan are the proud grandparents of three grandchildren and try to spend much of their leisure time with them.

Although Adrian doesn’t actually live in Evergreen, she should be given honorary citizenship for her passion and commitment to our community!
